What becomes the most used transactional cryptocurrency in the future if the majority of BTC is locked up as an investment? Give me your reasoning.
This question on Facebook today is a really good one — here’s my thinking.
- The companies investing in BTC are Tesla and companies like this — Tesla has already said they will Take Bitcoin
- If Apple take the step that is rumoured and also invest (if they have not already) and then start taking Bitcoin then that will further push the crypto forwards
- Paypal also take Bitcoin and are looking to expand this to more countries
Once more transactional sites and banks start taking Bitcoin the currency will become more transactional. Etherium with its contract-based blockchain will become the second IMHO. Ripple XRP a close third — this is because they are already involved in transactional processes.
The more that bigger organisations take the lead the more I think that BTC investments will become just part of the mix. This would cause a snowball effect with smaller retailers coming on board.
Then just watch as banks start allowing Bitcoin transactions.
Too late to buy Bitcoin — I think not.
